Pennsylvania's Offical 9/11 Memorial
This garden has been designed to be a contemplative,
peaceful place to go, remember, and pay respects to all those
who perished on 9/11. But it also is a place to enjoy life and
be vibrant, as all of our loved ones once were. Ball fields, tennis
courts, and walking paths will be part of the overall design to
be enjoyed by all families. However, our fundraising efforts are
directly associated with The Garden of Reflection.
As the 9/11 families in Bucks County try to
move on and heal, we are left without a place to mourn and reflect
on the lives we had with our loved ones. This has complicated
our grief process tremendously. Our nation as a whole has also
been traumatized by the brutal attacks on September 11, 2001
. We strongly believe that the memorial park and garden will
be a site for all to heal, rebuild, and truly celebrate life.
Just as this memorial garden will contribute to our own healing,
it will be a vital part of our community and will further our
Nation's longing to rebuild the spirit of America. |
